The Shelly Company in Ohio is seeking a hands-on General Laborer to perform duties around the facility, including operating heavy equipment, plant operation, and maintenance. You will join a team dedicated to safety and efficiency, with responsibilities ranging from daily upkeep to assisting forepersons as needed.

Responsibilities include detecting hazards, operating multiple pieces of heavy equipment, welding/fabrication as required, and ensuring OSHA/MSHA compliance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 1–3 months related experience and/or training.
• Personal protective equipment per OSHA/MSHA requirements.

Responsabilités

• Detect safety hazards and equipment malfunctions and respond accordingly.
• Safely operate heavy equipment including haul truck, water truck, dump truck, dredge, track hoe, loader, and skid steer.
• Follow directions and assist with general labor tasks as requested by supervisor.
• Weld and fabricate as needed.
• Assist with daily plant operations and upkeep.
• Clean up around plant, equipment, and surrounding area.
• Maintain OSHA & MSHA compliance and safety procedures.
• Perform general equipment maintenance.
