The Shelly Company, a CRH company, is seeking a dedicated general laborer to support plant operations, equipment operation and maintenance at our Ohio facility. You will assist the foreperson, operate heavy equipment like frontend loaders and skid steers, and perform welding or fabrication as needed.

This role requires safety awareness, ability to follow directions, and willingness to travel or work nights/weekends. You must join Local 18 IUOE within 30 days and comply with safety procedures.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or GED required; or 1–3 months related experience/training.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules and operating instructions.
• Willingness to follow directions and work in a team environment.

Responsabilidades

• Assist the plant foreperson with daily operations and upkeep of the plant.
• Operate heavy equipment safely, including frontend loader and skid steer loader.
• Perform general labor, shoveling, and equipment maintenance as needed.
• May perform welding and fabrication duties as required.
• Identify safety hazards and respond appropriately.
