Job summary

The Shelly Company, a CRH company, is seeking a Heavy Equipment Operator to assist the Plant Manager with daily production tasks. You will operate heavy machinery, ramp stock piles, load customers, and help maintain equipment at an Ohio plant

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED and the ability to read safety rules and operate according to procedures. Occasional travel, nights, and weekend shifts may be required to meet production needs.

Qualifications

• Must be able to operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently.
• Willing to travel and work away from home when required.
• Willing to work nights and weekends when necessary.

Responsibilities

• Operate various pieces of heavy equipment at job sites accurately and safely.
• Ramp stock piles and load customers safely and timely.
• Assist in the event of a breakdown.
• Clean up around the plant and surroundings.
• Lubricate and perform general maintenance on equipment.
• Follow directions from supervisors.
