Job summary

Cleveland Clinic Medina Hospital is seeking a Patient Service Specialist for a part-time role on the 2nd shift (3:00pm–11:30pm), 16 hours per week, Wednesdays and Fridays. You will welcome patients, collect co-pays, assist with scheduling and MyChart enrollment, and partner with physicians to ensure a smooth checkout process.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED (or higher), experience in patient registration or customer service, and working knowledge of Windows applications.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with two years of experience in patient registration, appointment scheduling, insurance processing or customer service.
• OR an Associate's Degree with one year of experience.
• OR a Bachelor's Degree.
• Working knowledge of Windows PC applications.
• Ability to perform basic math to process insurance co-pays.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and check in patients, families and visitors.
• Collect co-pays and complete visit preparations.
• Assist with kiosk use and MyChart enrollment.
• Support scheduling, pre-registration and interpreter services.
• Coordinate with physicians to ensure a smooth checkout process.
• Enter and maintain confidential patient information.
