Job summary

Your Talent Team is seeking a Production Supervisor for the second shift at a high-volume automotive painting operation in Grand Rapids, MI. You will lead one Team Leader and about 25 operators, focusing on safety, quality, delivery, productivity and employee engagement in a unionized environment.

Responsibilities include coaching, workload planning, monitoring line performance, resolving defects, supporting automation and paint-line equipment, and ensuring accurate records and handovers between

Qualifications

• High-volume manufacturing leadership experience required.
• Supervisory role with responsibility for production employees and shift performance.
• Experience in unionized environments preferred; knowledge of CBAs is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on leadership for second-shift paint operations and ensure safe, efficient execution of the production schedule.
• Lead one Team Leader and ~25 production employees across multiple functions.
• Assign labor and resources to meet daily production needs and maintain shift continuity.
