Job summary

JLL is seeking an Operating Engineer for our Frederick, CO facility. This onsite role focuses on operating, maintaining, troubleshooting and repairing building systems, with specialization in one craft and multi-skilled support across others.

The candidate will perform preventive maintenance, monitor equipment, manage inventory and ensure safety standards while supporting outside contractors. CNA-level certifications are preferred and EPA 608 Type II is required where applicable.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years experience maintaining and repairing commercial building systems
• Ability to analyze operation of Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing and HVAC systems
• EPA 608 Type II Certification
• Working knowledge of Word and Excel
• In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook)

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance, monitoring repairs to Mechanical, Plumbing, Structural, Furniture, Fire, Life Safety, and Control systems
• Maintain responsibility for facility services, preventative maintenance, and inventory control
• Maintenance of HVAC systems and associated equipment to optimal performance
• Record readings and adjust operations to ensure proper equipment function
• Comply with safety policies for hazardous materials storage, usage and disposal
• Monitor tool and instrument inventory and outside contractor work quality
• Be able to access equipment components and work in various environments including heat, rain, and night shifts
