Job summary

JLL in Mobile, AL is seeking an Operating Engineer (HVAC) to operate, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair industrial HVAC and environmental control systems in large-scale facilities. The role requires strong technical expertise and the ability to support mission-critical environments where precise temperature and airflow control are essential.

The ideal candidate has 6-8 years of experience, can read HVAC drawings and P&IDs, and holds EPA 608 Type II certification.

Qualifications

• 6-8 years of experience maintaining and repairing industrial or commercial HVAC systems.
• Ability to read HVAC drawings, P&IDs, control schematics, and technical manuals.
• EPA 608 Type II Certification; working knowledge of BAS, and MS Word/Excel.

Responsibilities

• Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot industrial HVAC, mechanical, and control systems.
• Monitor AHUs, chillers, cooling towers, boilers, and related environmental systems.
• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance and calibrations.
• Coordinate with contracted HVAC maintenance providers and maintain documentation.
