Job summary

Markent Personnel is seeking a 2nd shift Mechanical Maintenance Technician for high-speed packaging and GMP environments in Jefferson, WI. The role offers $33.90/hr starting rate with overtime and double-time premiums, plus a full corporate benefits package.

Qualifications

3+ years of hands-on mechanical maintenance in a sanitary GMP environment.
Experience maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
3+ years with conveyors, drive assemblies, gearboxes, high-speed mechanical drives.
Welding (MIG/TIG) and basic fabrication for machine repair.
US work authorization and residency within 45-minute drive of Jefferson, WI.

Responsibilities

Perform complex mechanical troubleshooting and preventive maintenance on high-speed processing/packaging equipment.
Inspect and rebuild pneumatic circuits, hydraulic cylinders, pumps, valves, and fluid power systems.
Maintain and repair conveyor systems, gearboxes, bearings, and drive components.
Weld and fabricate as needed to repair guards and frames.
Ensure GMP/sanitary compliance in all maintenance work.
Collaborate with production operators and sanitation teams to minimize downtime.
