Job summary

H.T. Prof Executive Search is seeking a 2nd Shift Mechanical Maintenance Technician for a high-speed packaging and GMP environment in Wisconsin.

This permanent, full-time role offers a starting rate of $33.90 per hour with time-and-a-half after 8 hours, double-time on Sundays, and a full benefits package. You will maintain high-speed processing equipment, troubleshoot mechanical systems, and perform preventive maintenance across active packaging and filling lines.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on industrial mechanical maintenance in a high-speed sanitary food/GMP environment.
• 3+ years maintaining hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• 3+ years maintaining conveyors, drive assemblies, gearboxes, and high-speed mechanical drives.
• Welding (MIG/TIG) proficiency for machine repair.
• US citizenship or Green Card holder status and residency within 45 minutes of Jefferson, WI.

Responsibilities

• High-Speed Equipment Maintenance: complex mechanical troubleshooting and preventive maintenance on high-speed sanitary processing and packaging equipment.
• Hydraulic & Pneumatic Systems: diagnose and rebuild hydraulic/pneumatic circuits and components.
• Conveyor & Drive Care: maintain and repair high-throughput conveyors and power transmission components.
• Welding & Fabrication: perform TIG/MIG welding and basic fabrication for guards and frames.
• GMP & Sanitary Compliance: ensure maintenance meets GMP and sanitary standards.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: work with operators and sanitation teams to minimize downtime.
