RON SUNSHINE ASSOCIATES LLC is seeking a 2nd Shift Mechanical Maintenance Technician in Jefferson, WI, for a direct-hire role with a leading, century-old food manufacturer renowned for safety and employee retention.

The position offers $33.90/hr starting pay plus overtime and double-time premiums, as well as a full corporate benefits package. You will maintain high-speed packaging machinery, diagnose mechanical issues, and execute preventive maintenance on GMP-compliant equipment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on industrial mechanical maintenance experience in a high-speed manufacturing environment (sanitary food manufacturing / GMP background preferred).
• 3+ years of verifiable experience maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• 3+ years of experience maintaining industrial conveyor systems, drive assemblies, gearboxes, and high-speed mechanical drives.

Responsabilités

• Perform complex mechanical troubleshooting and preventive maintenance on high-speed sanitary processing and packaging equipment.
• Inspect, diagnose, and rebuild hydraulic/pneumatic circuits and components.
• Maintain and repair conveyor systems, drive assemblies, gearboxes, bearings, and power transmission components.
• Execute floor-level TIG/MIG welding and basic fabrication for machine repair as needed.
• Ensure all maintenance work complies with GMP and sanitary standards.
