True North Consultants, Inc. is seeking a 2nd Shift Mechanical Maintenance Technician for a high-speed packaging line in Jefferson, WI. Starting pay is $33.90/hr plus overtime; double-time premiums on Sundays.

This direct-hire role offers a full benefits package and a long-term career at a century-old, family-oriented food manufacturer. Responsibilities include maintenance of high-speed equipment, hydraulic/pneumatic systems, conveyors, and floor-level welding.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on industrial mechanical maintenance in a high-speed, sanitary food/GMP environment.
• 3+ years maintaining hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• 3+ years maintaining conveyors and drive components.
• Welding (MIG/TIG) and basic fabrication for machine repair.
• U.S. Citizenship or Green Card holder and residency within 45-minute drive of Jefferson, WI.

Responsibilities

• Perform complex mechanical troubleshooting, repairs, and preventive maintenance on high-speed sanitary processing and packaging machinery.
• Inspect, diagnose, and rebuild hydraulic and pneumatic systems and circuits.
• Maintain, align, and repair high-throughput conveyor systems, gearboxes, bearings, and power transmission components.
• Weld and fabricate as needed to repair machine guards and frames.
• Ensure GMP/sanitary compliance and collaborate with production operators and sanitation teams.
