Job summary

The Keystone Distinction Group is seeking a 2nd shift Mechanical Maintenance Technician for a high-speed packaging and GMP environment in Jefferson, WI. The role focuses on maintaining sanitary processing lines, performing PMs, and driving reliability for packaging equipment.

Required are 3+ years in industrial mechanical maintenance (hydraulics/pneumatics, conveyors) with MIG/TIG welding capability and US work authorization. A strong safety culture and team-based environment are emphasized.

Qualifications

• 3+ years hands-on industrial mechanical maintenance in a high-speed manufacturing environment (sanitary food/GMP background preferred).
• 3+ years maintaining hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• 3+ years maintaining industrial conveyors, drive assemblies, gearboxes, and high-speed mechanical drives.
• Proficient MIG/TIG welding and basic fabrication for machine repair.
• Solid work history and US citizenship or Green Card, with residence within 45 minutes of Jefferson, WI.

Responsibilities

• Perform complex mechanical troubleshooting, routine repairs, and preventive maintenance on high-speed sanitary processing and packaging machinery.
• Inspect, diagnose, and rebuild hydraulic and pneumatic circuits, cylinders, pumps, valves, and power distribution components.
• Maintain, align, and repair high-throughput conveyor systems, gearboxes, bearings, and power transmission components.
• Execute floor-level TIG/MIG welding and minor fabrication to repair guards and sanitary frame weldments.
• Ensure all maintenance work complies with GMP and sanitary standards and safety protocols.
• Collaborate with 2nd shift operators and sanitation teams to minimize downtime and resolve equipment issues quickly.
