Job summary

KLA Industries is seeking a 2nd Shift Mechanical Maintenance Technician for its Jefferson, WI facility. You will maintain high-speed packaging and processing equipment, perform preventive maintenance, and support hydraulic/pneumatic systems and conveyors in a GMP environment.

The role offers a starting rate of $33.90/hr with overtime potential, double-time on Sundays, and a comprehensive benefits package. A 2nd shift schedule provides stable off-shift routines and long-term career stability.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on mechanical maintenance in sanitary GMP environments.
• 3+ years maintaining hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• 3+ years maintaining industrial conveyors and power transmission components.
• Welding (MIG/TIG) and basic fabrication for machine repair.

Responsibilities

• Maintain high-speed sanitary processing and packaging machinery.
• Troubleshoot mechanical systems and perform preventive maintenance.
• Repair hydraulic/pneumatic systems and conveyors.
• Perform floor-level welding/fabrication for guards and frame weldments.
• Ensure GMP and sanitary compliance in all maintenance work.
• Collaborate with production and sanitation teams to minimize downtime.
