Job summary

Sora Resource Group is seeking a 2nd Shift Mechanical Maintenance Technician for high-speed packaging and GMP environments in Jefferson, WI. This direct-hire role pays $33.90 per hour starting wage with overtime, double-time on Sundays, and a full benefits package, in a 2nd shift schedule.

You will perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot hydraulic and pneumatic systems, and maintain conveyors. Requires 3+ years in sanitary food/GMP maintenance, US work authorization, and residency within 45

Qualifications

3+ years of hands-on industrial mechanical maintenance in a sanitary food environment.
Experience maintaining hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
Experience with conveyors, gearboxes, and high-speed drives.
Proficient with MIG/TIG welding and basic fabrication.
US work authorization and residency within 45 minutes of Jefferson, WI.

Responsibilities

Perform complex mechanical troubleshooting and preventive maintenance on high-speed packaging equipment.
Inspect and rebuild hydraulic and pneumatic circuits, pumps, valves, and distribution systems.
Maintain conveyors, drive assemblies, gearboxes, and power transmission components.
Execute floor-level TIG/MIG welding and basic fabrication for machine repair.
Ensure GMP and sanitary compliance with all maintenance work, and support cross-functional teams.
