Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on industrial mechanical maintenance in a high-speed manufacturing environment.
• 3+ years of experience maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• 3+ years of experience maintaining industrial conveyor systems and power transmission.
• MIG/TIG welding proficiency and basic fabrication for machine repair.
• U.S. Citizenship or Green Card; reside within 45-minute radius of Jefferson, WI.

Responsibilities

• Perform complex mechanical troubleshooting, routine repairs, and preventive maintenance on high-speed sanitary processing and packaging machinery.
• Inspect, diagnose, and rebuild pneumatic circuits, hydraulic cylinders, pumps, valves, and fluid power distribution systems.
• Maintain, align, and repair high-throughput belt, roller, and chain conveyor systems, gearboxes, bearings, and power transmission components.
• Execute floor-level TIG/MIG welding and minor metal fabrication for machine repair.
• Ensure all mechanical maintenance work meets strict sanitary food manufacturing standards (GMP).
• Partner with 2nd shift production operators and sanitation teams to minimize downtime.
