Joseph Michaels International seeks a skilled 2nd Shift Mechanical Maintenance Technician to service high-speed packaging and GMP environments in Jefferson, WI. The role emphasizes sanitary maintenance, troubleshooting, and PMs on fast lines, with strong emphasis on safety and quality standards.

Qualified candidates will have 3+ years in sanitary food GMP settings, hydraulic/pneumatic expertise, and welding skills.

Qualifications

• 3+ years hands-on mechanical maintenance in sanitary food/GMP environments.
• 3+ years maintaining hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• 3+ years maintaining industrial conveyors, drives, gearboxes, and high-speed equipment.
• Welding (MIG/TIG) and basic fabrication skills.

Responsabilités

• Perform complex mechanical troubleshooting and preventive maintenance on high-speed sanitary packaging machinery.
• Inspect and rebuild hydraulic/pneumatic circuits and components.
• Maintain and repair conveyor systems, gearboxes, bearings, and power transmission parts.
• Weld and fabricate parts for machine repair and sanitation.
• Ensure GMP and sanitary compliance in all maintenance activities.
• Collaborate with production and sanitation teams to minimize downtime.
