Job summary

Horan Hiring Solutions, LLC is assisting a Jefferson, WI area food manufacturer in hiring a 2nd Shift Mechanical Maintenance Technician for high-speed packaging lines. This permanent, direct-hire role pays $33.90/hr starting rate, with time-and-a-half overtime, double-time on Sundays, and a full benefits package.

You will perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot hydraulic and pneumatic systems, service conveyors, and weld/fabricate as needed while keeping GMP and sanitary standards.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on mechanical maintenance in a high-speed sanitary environment.
• 3+ years of hydraulics/pneumatics maintenance experience.
• 3+ years maintaining conveyors and power transmission components.
• Welding (MIG/TIG) proficiency for machine repairs.
• US work authorization and 45-minute radius residency of Jefferson, WI.

Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical maintenance on high-speed sanitary processing and packaging equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Maintain conveyors and drive components for high output lines.
• Weld/fabricate as needed for machine repair.
• Ensure GMP and sanitary compliance in all maintenance work.
• Collaborate with production operators and sanitation teams to minimize downtime.
