Qualifications

• Experience with machine setup and usage of machine controls.
• 3+ years as a machinist.
• 2+ years reading blueprints.
• 1+ years operating King-style boring mills or VTLs.
• Proficiency with precision measuring tools.

Responsibilities

• Set ups of large Liquid Ring Vacuum Pump components and operations of large Vertical & Horizontal Lathes.
• Read blueprints and interpret dimensions using micrometers, calipers, etc.
• Maintain tight tolerances as low as .0005".
• Select cutting tools and determine speeds/feeds for finish.
• Overtime and weekend work as needed.
• Safe operation of forklift and overhead crane; follow EH&S & QMS.
