Michael Foods, Inc. in Lansing, IL, is seeking a Maintenance Technician L1 to join the plant team. The role supports maintenance and reliability services, performing preventive and corrective tasks, troubleshooting, and process improvements to ensure asset health and safe operations.

The position requires adherence to Safety as a Core Value, availability for scheduled shifts, weekends, and holidays, and collaboration with plant teams to meet company objectives. Experience with SAP is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Associate's degree or two-year technical certificate preferred.
• 1 year of experience as an industrial maintenance technician preferred.
• Ability to read mechanical drawings, electrical schematics, and P&ID diagrams preferred.
• Prior experience in SAP preferred.
• Ability to interact with all levels of the organization.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Participate with reliability and maintenance team to improve safety, quality, delivery and cost.
• Learn and execute Precision Maintenance techniques ensuring procedural compliance.
• Perform technical troubleshooting with experienced maintenance personnel.
• Attend maintenance training for personnel development.
• Follow reliability procedures for critical spares and parts.
• Assist in maintenance projects and process improvements.
• Maintain accurate records and document reliability reporting.
