Job summary

Wayne-Sanderson Farms seeks a seasoned maintenance technician to troubleshoot and repair electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical systems in our processing facilities. You will read blueprints, perform testing, and ensure equipment runs within safety and quality specs.

You must have a high school diploma, NOCTI certifications preferred, and at least 3 years of industrial maintenance experience. The role requires night/weekend shifts and the ability to work independently while following

Qualifications

• H.S. diploma or equivalent with NOCTI certs (Level 1-2, Level 3 required).
• Minimum 3 years of industrial maintenance experience.
• Ability to read blueprints, drawings and schematics.
• Ability to use hand and power tools; welding/pipefitting/fabrication experience.
• English language proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Independently troubleshoot reported problems.
• Repair and maintain electrical, power distribution, PLCs, and machinery.
• Identify root causes and repair with welding and fabrication.
• Perform preventative maintenance on equipment.
• Suggest permanent fixes for recurring problems.
• Identify unsafe conditions and seek assistance when needed.
• Assist with maintaining blueprints and manuals.
• Train lower level employees as needed.
• Comply with safety policies and regulations.
• All other duties as assigned.
