Job summary

Tom Trese Networking LLC is seeking a 2nd Shift Lead Industrial Electrician for a Fort Atkinson, WI packaging automation operation. You will lead troubleshooting, installation, and repair of plant electrical infrastructure and automated panels, ensuring NEC compliance and minimal downtime.

The role offers up to $44/hour with daily overtime and Sunday double-time, plus 100% company-paid tuition reimbursement and full corporate benefits in a modern, safety-focused facility.

Qualifications

• Industrial electrical maintenance experience in automated manufacturing, packaging, or continuous-processing facilities.
• Experience in highly regulated hygiene/safety environments (food/beverage) preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret multi-page electrical schematics, three-phase power diagrams, and control logic prints.
• Practical experience diagnosing issues across automated packaging networks, VFDs, sensors, MCCs, and conveyors.
• Comfort working at heights, using aerial lifts, and safely handling high-voltage enclosures.
• U.S. Citizenship or Green Card holder within 45 minutes daily driving radius of Fort Atkinson, WI.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Shift Technical Lead: primary 2nd shift technical authority for troubleshooting, installing, and repairing plant electrical infrastructure, automated panels, and control circuits.
• Execute Active Logic Diagnostics: trace schematics to diagnose failures and minimize downtime.
• Ensure NEC & Code Compliance: perform repairs and upgrades per NEC guidelines.
• Maintain Master Documentation: log daily maintenance and update drawings reflecting field changes.
• Manage Overhead Infrastructure: service overhead power networks using ladders, scaffolding, and aerial lifts.
• Uphold Plant Safety & Sanitation: maintain 5S and high-hygiene protocols in the workplace.
