Job summary

Essenti Talent is recruiting for a 2nd Shift Mechanical Maintenance Technician for a high-speed packaging and GMP environment in Jefferson, WI. This direct-hire role offers $33.90 per hour starting pay, overtime, and double-time premiums, plus a full benefits package.

You will perform preventive and corrective maintenance on high-speed processing and packaging lines, maintain hydraulic and pneumatic systems, conveyors, and weld fabrications, while upholding GMP standards and safety.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on industrial mechanical maintenance in a high-speed GMP environment.
• Experience with hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Conveyors, drives, gearboxes, and high-speed mechanical systems maintenance.
• MIG/TIG welding and basic fabrication for machine repair.
• US work authorization; reside within a 45-minute daily drive of Jefferson, WI.

Responsibilities

• High-speed equipment maintenance: troubleshoot, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on packaging machinery.
• Inspect and rebuild hydraulic/pneumatic circuits and components.
• Maintain conveyors, drives, gearboxes, and power transmission systems.
• Perform TIG/MIG welding and basic fabrication on machine guards and frames.
• Ensure GMP and sanitary compliance during maintenance work.
• Collaborate with shift operators and sanitation teams to minimize downtime.
