Job summary

Henderson Group Recruiting is seeking a 2nd Shift Mechanical Maintenance Technician for a high-speed packaging and GMP environment in Jefferson, WI. The role offers $33.90/hr starting pay plus overtime and double-time premiums, along with full corporate benefits.

You will perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot mechanical systems, and repair hydraulic/pneumatic circuits on high-speed packaging lines. The ideal candidate has 3+ years in sanitary food manufacturing and a valid US work

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on industrial mechanical maintenance experience in a high-speed sanitary food/GMP environment.
• 3+ years maintaining hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• 3+ years maintaining conveyors, gearboxes, and high-speed drives.
• Welding (MIG/TIG) and basic fabrication proficiency.
• US work authorization and residency within 45 minutes of Jefferson, WI.

Responsibilities

• Perform complex mechanical troubleshooting on high-speed sanitary processing and packaging machinery.
• Diagnose, repair, and maintain hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Maintain, align, and repair conveyors, gearboxes, bearings, and power transmission components.
• Execute floor-level TIG/MIG welding and basic fabrication for machine repair.
• Ensure compliance with GMP and sanitary standards in all maintenance work.
• Collaborate with production operators and sanitation teams to minimize downtime.
