Job summary

Your Talent Team in Jefferson, WI is seeking a 2nd Shift Mechanical Maintenance Technician to support high-speed packaging and GMP operations. This direct-hire role offers a starting rate of $33.90/hr with overtime, double-time premiums on Sundays, and full benefits in a sanitary food manufacturing setting.

You will perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot hydraulic and pneumatic systems, maintain conveyor lines, and weld/fabricate as needed.

Qualifications

• Industrial Maintenance Depth: 3+ years in a high-speed sanitary food/manufacturing GMP setting.
• Fluid Power Mastery: 3+ years maintaining hydraulic/pneumatic systems.
• Conveyors & Power Transmission: 3+ years on conveyors, gearboxes, and drives.
• Welding Capability: MIG/TIG welding and basic fabrication for machine repair.
• Work History & Location: US citizenship/Green Card and 45-minute radius of Jefferson, WI.

Responsibilities

• High-Speed Equipment Maintenance: troubleshoot, repair, and PM high-speed packaging machinery.
• Hydraulic & Pneumatic Systems: inspect, diagnose, rebuild hydraulic/pneumatic circuits.
• Conveyor & Drive Care: maintain and repair conveyors, gearboxes, bearings, and drives.
• Welding & Fabrication: TIG/MIG welding and fabrication for machine guards and frames.
• GMP & Sanitary Compliance: uphold GMP and sanitary standards in a clean room environment.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: work with operators and sanitation to minimize downtime.
