Job summary

Ashford Connex, LLC is seeking a 2nd Shift Industrial Maintenance Mechanic for its Greater Madison area facility. The role offers a $31.00/hour base rate plus premium overtime, including time-and-a-half after 8 daily hours and guaranteed double-time on Sundays, with full benefits and direct-hire stability.

You will maintain high-speed processing lines, service conveyors, diagnose fluid power systems, perform welding for modifications, and uphold GMP and sanitation standards in a busy food

Qualifications

• 1+ year of dedicated industrial mechanical maintenance experience in a fast-paced production setting, with hydraulics, pneumatics, and conveyors.
• Fabrication and welding fundamentals for machinery repair applications.
• Comfort working in a food-safe processing environment with GMP compliance.
• Proven tenure, reliability, and strong daily attendance with past employers.
• Residence within a daily 45-minute driving radius of Greater Madison, WI.
• Must be a United States Citizen or Lawful Permanent Resident (Green Card holder).

Responsibilities

• Maintain high-speed processing lines with mechanical troubleshooting and rapid fault-tracing.
• Service conveyors, drive assemblies, belts, gearboxes, and related machinery.
• Diagnose fluid power systems including hydraulic/pneumatic components and controls.
• Execute structural modifications using MIG/TIG welding for guarding and frames.
• Ensure sanitation, safety, and GMP compliance in all work activities.
