Job summary

Markent Personnel, Inc. seeks a 2nd Shift Industrial Maintenance Mechanic for a food processing and hydraulics environment in Greater Madison, WI. The role pays $31.00/hr with premium overtime and a full benefits package.

This is a direct-hire, 2nd shift position you will join a century-old facility known for safety, GMP compliance, and a collaborative culture. Daily work includes troubleshooting high-speed conveyors, hydraulic/pneumatic systems, welding, and mechanical drive assemblies.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of dedicated industrial mechanical maintenance in a fast-paced production setting.
• Experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, and conveyors.
• Basic fabrication and welding fundamentals; GMP/compliance exposure is a plus.
• US citizen or lawful permanent resident (Green Card) and ability to commute within 45 minutes of Greater Madison, WI.

Responsibilities

• Maintain high-speed processing lines and perform rapid fault-tracing and repairs.
• Service conveyors, drive assemblies, and related components.
• Diagnose and overhaul fluid power systems (hydraulic/pneumatic).
• Execute structural modifications with MIG/TIG welding as needed.
• Ensure sanitation, GMP compliance, and safety in a regulated facility.
