Job summary

RON SUNSHINE ASSOCIATES LLC is seeking a 2nd Shift Industrial Maintenance Mechanic for a food processing operation in the Greater Madison, WI area. The role offers $31.00 per hour starting base with premium overtime, including time-and-a-half after 8 hours and double-time on Sundays, plus full benefits.

Responsibilities include maintaining high-speed processing lines, conveyors and hydraulics, performing welding as needed, and upholding GMP and sanitation standards in a century-old facility

Qualifications

• 1+ year of dedicated industrial mechanical maintenance experience in a fast-paced production setting.
• Basic structural welding, torch cutting, and metal fitting for machinery repair.
• Comfort working in a food-safe facility with GMP compliance.

Responsibilities

• Maintain high-speed packaging lines and perform mechanical troubleshooting.
• Service conveyors, drive assemblies, belts, gearboxes, and related equipment.
• Diagnose and service hydraulic/pneumatic systems and fluid power loops.
• Perform structural modifications using MIG/TIG welding to repair or reinforce equipment.
• Ensure equipment/work areas comply with sanitation, safety and GMP standards.
