True North Consultants, Inc. is seeking a 2nd Shift Industrial Maintenance Mechanic for a food processing facility in the Greater Madison area. The role focuses on hydraulic/pneumatic systems, conveyors, and packaging equipment with strong emphasis on safety and GMP compliance.

The position offers a base pay of $31.00 per hour plus premium overtime, including time-and-a-half after 8 hours and double-time on Sundays, with full benefits and stable, long-term opportunities.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of dedicated industrial mechanical maintenance experience in a fast-paced production environment.
• Strong fundamentals in hydraulics, pneumatics, and conveyors.
• Ability to perform basic structural welding and fabrication for machinery repair.
• Comfort working in a food-safe processing environment with GMP compliance.
• Stable employment history and good daily attendance.
• Residence within a 45-minute drive of Greater Madison, WI, and US work authorization.

Responsibilities

• Maintain high-speed processing lines with troubleshooting and rapid fault tracing.
• Service conveyors and drive assemblies, troubleshoot and optimize machinery.
• Diagnose and service fluid power systems (hydraulic/pneumatic) safely.
• Perform structural modifications using MIG/TIG welding to repair or reinforce equipment.
• Ensure strict sanitation, safety protocols, and GMP compliance in all activities.
