Job summary
Electrical Automation Services is seeking a Controls Technician for a large bakery site in Swedesboro, NJ. You will maintain, troubleshoot and optimize plant-wide electrical, automation and process control systems on high-speed production lines, providing technical leadership and training to Electro-Mechanics across all shifts.
The role requires strong experience with PLCs, drives, and networking, plus GMP and safety compliance.
Qualifications
- Extensive industrial controls experience and electrical maintenance.
- Strong knowledge of control drawings and P&IDs.
- Proficiency with Rockwell, Siemens, and Mitsubishi software.
- Ability to read schematics and maintenance manuals.
Responsibilities
- Maintain plant electrical, automation and process control systems.
- Lead troubleshooting and root cause analysis for control-related failures.
- Train and coordinate Electro-Mechanics across all shifts.
- Oversee preventive, predictive and corrective maintenance for PLCs, drives and networks.
- Document system configurations and equipment layouts.
