Job summary

Electrical Automation Services is hiring a Controls Technician for a large bakery in Swedesboro, NJ. You will maintain and optimize plant electrical, automation and process control systems on high-speed production lines and provide technical leadership across shifts.

Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent with extensive controls experience; proficiency with Rockwell, Siemens and Mitsubishi software; ability to read schematics; and willingness to train others while ensuring GMP

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with extensive industrial controls, automation, or electrical maintenance experience.
• Understanding of machine layouts, control drawings, P&IDs, diagrams and distributed control systems.
• Experience in Rockwell, Siemens and Mitsubishi programming and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and optimize plant electrical, automation and control systems for uptime.
• Lead troubleshooting and root cause analysis for electrical and controls issues.
• Train Electro-Mechanics across shifts and oversee maintenance of PLCs, drives, networks, and equipment.
• Support plant utilities and ensure GMP, safety, quality compliance.
