Electrical Automation Services seeks a skilled Controls Technician for a large commercial bakery in Swedesboro, NJ. You will maintain and optimize plant-wide electrical, automation, and process control systems on high-speed production lines, providing technical leadership and training to Electro-Mechanics across shifts.

The role requires a strong background in industrial controls, PLCs, drives, and electrical schematics, with proficiency in Rockwell, Siemens, and Mitsubishi platforms.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with extensive industrial controls, automation, or electrical maintenance experience.
• Ability to read electrical schematics, work orders, operating manuals, and maintenance instructions.
• Proficiency with Rockwell (Allen-Bradley), Siemens, and Mitsubishi programming, configuration, and troubleshooting software.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and optimize plant electrical, automation, and process control systems to maximize equipment reliability and uptime.
• Lead troubleshooting and root cause analysis for electrical and controls-related equipment failures.
• Train and coordinate Electro-Mechanics across all shifts.
• Oversee preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance for PLCs, drives, networks, and production equipment.
• Maintain electrical schematics, control programs, system configurations, and equipment documentation.
