Job summary

Abbott in Alameda, CA is seeking a Complaint Investigation Technician - 2nd Shift to perform routine testing of medical devices involved in customer returns. You will document investigation activities clearly, use databases, and ensure timely closure per procedures.

This role requires basic education, strong organizational and communication skills, and proficiency with MS Office and data entry. You will work Monday to Friday, 1:30 PM to 10:00 PM, in a regulated laboratory environment, with

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Good organizational, written, oral and interpersonal skills.
• PC skills, including MS Office applications and databases.
• Competent mathematical skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine testing on returned products due to customer complaints and document investigation activities clearly and accurately.
• Adhere to procedures and work instructions throughout the process.
• Handle multiple tasks effectively and efficiently with a high level of professionalism and customer service.
• Understand investigation priorities as outlined in procedures and as assigned by the laboratory supervisor.
• Ensure returned product is handled, investigated safely and timely per established procedures; non-conformances may trigger FDA sanctions.
• Comply with applicable Corporate and Divisional Policies and perform other duties as assigned by management.
