Job summary

Abbott is seeking a Complaint Investigation Technician for the Alameda, CA facility. This role conducts routine testing on medical devices associated with returns from customer complaints, documenting investigations clearly and maintaining files per procedures.

You will transfer the returned product to the next stage per priorities and work the 1:30 PM–10:00 PM shift, Monday to Friday. You will document activities with software, computers and databases, ensuring timely closure and compliance

Qualifications

Minimum high school diploma required.
Good organizational, written, oral and interpersonal skills.
PC skills including MS Office applications and databases.
Competent mathematical skills are required.

Responsibilities

Safely perform routine testing and receiving of returned products due to customer complaints and document investigation activities clearly and accurately.
Adhere to procedures and work instructions throughout the process.
Handle multiple tasks effectively and efficiently with professionalism and customer service.
Understand the priorities of investigation as outlined in the procedures and as assigned by the laboratory supervisor.
Ensure returned product is handled appropriately, investigated safely and accurately per procedures to avoid non-conformances.
Comply with Corporate and Divisional Policies and perform other duties as assigned by management.
