Job summary

Abbott is seeking a Complaint Investigations Tech in Alameda, CA for a 6‑month, onsite assignment. You will unpack returns, investigate issues with glucose meters, strips, and sensors, and document findings in the complaint system.

Routine tests use meters, oscilloscopes, fixtures, and microscopes, with emphasis on data integrity and calibration. The role requires strong documentation, English proficiency, and basic computer skills.

Qualifications

• Must read, write and understand English.
• Strong documentation and data-entry skills.
• Familiar with SOPs and good computer literacy.

Responsibilities

• Unpack and sort returned products by product line.
• Investigate complaints on glucose meters, strips and sensors.
• Document investigations in the Complaint Handling System.
• Perform routine testing on returned products.
• Maintain calibration and validity of testing equipment.
• Record data and ensure traceability of investigations.
• Ensure timely processing of customer returns per ISO/FDA rules.
