Job summary

Blount Fine Foods Corp. in Fall River, MA, is seeking a 2nd shift processor to efficiently mix, blend, and cook raw ingredients for finished products. You will work with kettles and mixers and ensure recipe integrity and food safety.

Responsibilities include adherence to HACCP standards, equipment maintenance coordination, and collaboration with QC/QA. The role requires basic math skills and the ability to follow detailed procedures in a fast-paced production environment.

Qualifications

• One-year certificate from college or technical school, or three to six months related experience and/or training.
• Ability to perform basic math and use measurement units, including rate, ratio, and percent.
• HACCP certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate large volume kettles and mixers as primary processor of finished food products.
• Ensure product quality through solids checks, ingredient verification, instrument calibration, and chart recorder accuracy.
• Follow blending recipes and HACCP steps to ensure correct completion of all recipes and allergen controls.
• Learn, operate and adjust multiple processing equipment while maintaining organization.
• Maintain equipment with maintenance team to improve performance; basic troubleshooting skills.
• Perform viscosity and sensory testing on batches; collaborate with QC/QA on processes.
• Communicate effectively within the department to maximize efficiency.
