Blount Fine Foods Corp. in McKinney, TX is seeking a dedicated processor to efficiently mix, blend, and cook raw ingredients on large kettles and mixers. The role supports product quality and food safety while working with a small team on the processing line.

Qualifications

• One-year certificate from college or technical school, or three to six months related experience and/or training.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
• HACCP Certification preferred

Responsibilities

• Operate large volume kettles and mixers on processing lines with an assistant.
• Ensure product quality per solids, ingredients, calibration, and chart recorder accuracy.
• Follow blending recipes and HACCP steps to complete recipes to standards, with attention to Food Safety/Allergen Control.
• Learn, operate, and adjust multiple inline processing equipment safely and efficiently.
• Coordinate with Maintenance to improve equipment performance and perform basic troubleshooting.
• Perform viscosity and sensory testing on batches produced.
• Collaborate with QC/QA on new and existing processes; communicate effectively within the department.
