Job summary

Liberty Diversified International is seeking an Assistant Machine Operator II at our Phoenix, AZ manufacturing facility. You will support machine operators, set up orders, perform quality checks, and help stack finished products. This role may involve operating gluers, stitchers, slitters, and saw machines in some locations.

It reports to a Production Supervisor and requires dependability and safety focus. The job emphasizes teamwork in a small crew, overtime availability, and adherence to plant

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED or 1+ years manufacturing experience.
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic (addition/subtraction/multiplication/division).
• Ability to read, follow, and complete detailed work instructions.
• Must be available to work overtime, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Assist with setup of orders according to customer specifications and ensure correct tools are prepared.
• Aid machine operators during quality checks by inspecting first articles and throughout the order.
• Monitor production metrics and communicate issues to maximize efficiency and minimize downtime.
• Assist with minor equipment repairs in partnership with maintenance.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and follow safety procedures.
