Job summary
Liberty Diversified International (LDI) is seeking an Assistant Machine Operator I at our Phoenix, AZ facility. You will support machine operators, help ensure accurate order setup, and perform quality checks on produced corrugated products to meet customer specifications.
The role requires basic math, reading and following work instructions, and availability for overtime. Benefits include health/dental/vision, PTO, 401(k) with corporate matching, profit sharing, and more.
Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED or 1+ year manufacturing experience.
- Ability to perform basic math operations such as addition, subtraction, multiplication and division.
- Experience reading, following, and completing detailed work instructions.
- Must be available to work overtime, weekends, and holidays as required.
Responsibilities
- Assist with setup of orders according to customer specifications and readiness process.
- Assist machine operators during quality checks and inspect first articles for quality.
- Monitor production metrics to track progress, quality, maintenance needs and downtime.
- Communicate equipment issues and assist with troubleshooting to maximize efficiency.
