Job summary

Liberty Diversified International is hiring an Assistant Machine Operator I at our Houston, TX manufacturing facility. You will support machine operators, set up orders, perform quality checks, and help maximize production efficiency in a fast-paced environment.

The role reports to a Production Supervisor and requires basic math, attention to detail, and the ability to read detailed work instructions. Overtime, weekends and holidays may be required. Benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED equality, or 1+ years manufacturing experience in place of education.
• Ability to perform basic math operations including addition, subtraction, multiplication and division.
• Experience reading, following, and completing detailed work instructions.

Responsibilities

• Assist with setup of orders according to customer specs and readiness.
• Support machine operators during quality checks by inspecting first article and throughout orders.
• Monitor production metrics to track progress, quality, maintenance needs and downtime.
• Communicate equipment issues to leaders and assist with troubleshooting to maximize efficiency.
• Intermittently assist with minor repairs with the maintenance team.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area following post order cleaning process.
