Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited four-year institution.
• K‑12 classroom experience strongly preferred.
• Reading Academies certification or willingness to obtain TX training.
• Bilingual certification strongly preferred, ESL certification also viewed positively.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver rigorous, standards-aligned instruction.
• Assess progress and track mastery for each student.
• Communicate student progress with students and families weekly.
• Submit weekly lesson plans and maintain up-to-date gradebooks.
• Participate in tutoring sessions and after-school duties as needed.
