Job summary

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid teaching certification and a bachelor’s degree.
• Experience in a K-12 classroom setting is strongly preferred.
• Reading Academies certification or willingness to obtain TX training within required timelines.

Responsibilities

• Implement state standards and IDEA curricula and assessments to meet ambitious academic expectations.
• Submit weekly lesson plans two weeks in advance for feedback.
• Track student progress and adjust lesson plans weekly and update gradebook.
• Communicate students’ progress with student and family on a weekly basis.
• Establish and maintain a clear behavior management system aligned to campus initiatives.
• Participate in weekly manager check-ins, grade-level meetings, and after‑school duties.
