Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year educational institution (required).
• K-12 classroom experience strongly preferred.
• Reading Academies certification for K-3 teachers or TX training timeline may apply; bilingual/ESL certification helpful.

Responsibilities

• Implement state learning standards and IDEA curricula and assessments to meet ambitious academic expectations.
• Submit weekly lesson plans two weeks in advance for feedback.
• Assess and track student progress; adjust lessons and update gradebook weekly.
• Communicate students’ progress with students and families on a weekly basis.
• Utilize technology for communication and classroom management to boost achievement.
• Maintain a behavior management system aligned with campus initiatives.
• Foster a positive school culture and collaborate with families.
• Commit to 40+ hours on-site per week and participate in tutoring or extra sessions as needed.
