Job summary

Michael Foods, Inc. in Klingerstown, PA is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead plant reliability and maintenance teams on 2nd and 3rd shifts.

You will ensure equipment and facilities run at peak condition, supervise a professional team, and partner with the ARM, plant maintenance, and operations groups for reliability initiatives. Responsibilities include safety leadership, compliance with GMP and food safety standards, cost management, and participation in root cause analysis and RCA/RCM

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or technical field preferred; associate degree or technical certificate acceptable.
• Minimum of 5 years of proven leadership or supervisory experience in industrial operations or maintenance.
• CMRP certification preferred.
• Understanding of PLC and equipment automation preferred.
• Prior experience in SAP preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise department team members to improve safety, quality, delivery, and cost.
• Supervise maintenance or project contractors onsite ensuring safety and GMP compliance.
• Balance maintenance initiatives aligned with plant business strategies while on shift.
• Assist planning and cost estimates for annual and longer-term capital and operating budgets.
• Support RCA/RCM processes to drive asset reliability improvements.
