Job summary

Bosch USA is seeking a Deskside Support Specialist to provide on-site IT support for end-user hardware, software, and network connectivity across the Indiana manufacturing environment.

The role requires collaboration with production teams and engineers to minimize downtime and ensure seamless operations on the factory floor, including immediate 24/7 response to production-impacting issues.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of two years of hands-on desktop, deskside, or technical support experience.
• Experience troubleshooting Windows OS, hardware, printers, and peripherals.
• Able to work full-time on-site in an industrial/manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide first- and second-level support for end-user hardware, software, printers, network connectivity, and related IT services.
• Install, configure, maintain, and repair desktop and laptop systems at workstations and on the manufacturing floor.
• Interact with production personnel, engineers, administrative staff, and leadership to minimize operational disruption.
• Escalate complex infrastructure issues to appropriate IT teams while maintaining ownership of communication and follow-up.
