Job summary

Bosch Home Comfort Group in Norman, OK is seeking a detail-oriented Field IT Support professional to join our team. You will provide on-site and remote end-user support, diagnose hardware and software issues, and ensure minimal downtime for our operations.

You will install and maintain desktops, printers, and mobile devices, document tickets, perform preventive maintenance, and travel to field locations as needed.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in IT support, help desk, or field service roles.
• Proficient in diagnosing and resolving hardware and software problems.
• Experience with Windows and macOS operating systems and basic networking.
• Experience with ticketing systems and IT service management tools.
• Strong communication and ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to field locations.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site and remote technical support to end-users, resolving hardware, software, and connectivity issues in a timely manner
• Diagnose and troubleshoot computer systems, peripherals, and network connectivity problems using analytical approaches
• Install, configure, and maintain IT equipment including desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile devices
• Document all support tickets accurately and completely, tracking issue resolution
• Perform preventative maintenance and system updates to ensure optimal performance
• Assist with user onboarding by setting up new equipment and providing technical orientation
• Collaborate with the IT team to identify recurring issues and implement long-term solutions
• Travel to various field locations as needed to provide on-site technical support
• Maintain organized inventory of IT equipment and supplies
• Communicate technical information clearly to non-technical users
