Job summary

Cox Enterprises is seeking a Dispatch Coordinator to join Cox Fleet. You will coordinate and manage the logistics of fleet operations, ensuring vehicles are maintained and repaired promptly. You will assign events to the nearest service provider and communicate ETA to customers.

Work hours vary to provide market coverage in a 24/7/365 environment. The role offers opportunities for growth, training, and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED and 3 years of experience in dispatching for breakdown and/or tire, medium to heavy duty vehicle maintenance; alternate with advanced degree or 5 years experience.
• Strong knowledge of dispatching and multitasking.
• Preferred: degree in related discipline or industry experience.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage the logistics of fleet operations; ensure vehicles are maintained and repaired promptly.
• Assess and assign all open events.
• Verify proper authorization to dispatch.
• Assign the nearest service provider to make repairs.
• Inform customer of ETA and follow instructions.
• Inform supervisor on duty of delays or problems with repairs.
