Transdev North America is hiring a Transportation Supervisor at our WMATA location in Capital Heights, MD. The Operations Supervisor oversees daily Dispatch operations within a 24/7 transportation environment, ensuring safe, reliable, and efficient service delivery by monitoring real-time operations, supporting Dispatch staff, and coordinating with Operators, subcontractors, and support departments.

Qualifications

3–5 years of supervisory experience in operations.
Ability to lead a diverse group to achieve dispatch goals.
Willingness to learn and use RideCo or similar dispatch software.
Strong customer service and safety orientation.
Able to work independently and adapt in a dynamic environment.
DOT drug testing and physical if applicable.

Responsibilities

Monitor dispatchers and operators in real-time to ensure service in a 24/7 environment.
Provide coaching and discipline for non-compliance and delays.
Improve dispatch and customer satisfaction and maintain professionalism.
Communicate with management to maximize efficiencies and resolve issues.
Have authority to implement discipline and direct dispatch staff as needed.
Fill in as a dispatcher when required.
Ensure compliance with office policies and safety protocols.
