Transdev North America is hiring a Transportation Supervisor at our WMATA location in Capital Heights, MD. The Operations Supervisor oversees daily Dispatch operations within a 24/7 transportation environment, ensuring safe, reliable, and efficient service delivery by monitoring real-time operations, supporting Dispatch staff, and coordinating with Operators, subcontractors, and support departments.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of supervisory experience in operations.
• Ability to lead a diverse group to achieve dispatch goals.
• Willingness to learn and use RideCo or similar dispatch software.
• Strong customer service and safety orientation.
• Able to work independently and adapt in a dynamic environment.
• DOT drug testing and physical if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Monitor dispatchers and operators in real-time to ensure service in a 24/7 environment.
• Provide coaching and discipline for non-compliance and delays.
• Improve dispatch and customer satisfaction and maintain professionalism.
• Communicate with management to maximize efficiencies and resolve issues.
• Have authority to implement discipline and direct dispatch staff as needed.
• Fill in as a dispatcher when required.
• Ensure compliance with office policies and safety protocols.
