Job summary

UniFirst is seeking a dedicated Customer Service Representative in Jacksonville, FL for an 18-month contract to cover a leave of absence. You will act as a liaison between customers and the company, with on-the-job training provided and a 5-day work week with weekends off.

You will handle customer inquiries by phone or email, support the Sales team, and perform AR tasks including credits, exchanges, and escalation-based resolutions. Strong MS Office skills and attention to detail are essential.

Qualifications

• 2 years of Customer Service experience in an administrative setting is preferred.
• Prior Accounts Receivable experience is encouraged.
• High School diploma or GED equivalent is recommended.
• Verbal & written communication skills with professional telephone and email etiquette.
• Active listener, responsive, and personable.
• Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, TEAMS, etc).
• Time management and organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Capable of working independently as well as in a team.
• Comfortable with basic math and data entry accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers by answering questions related to accounts, procedures, and services by telephone or email.
• Provide excellent customer service to both customers and UniFirst personnel.
• Perform accounts receivable duties: calling on outstanding accounts, processing credits and exchanges, and resolving account conflicts through UniFirst's escalation process.
• Partner and provide administrative support to UniFirst's Sales Department.
• Perform basic data entry and other administrative duties.
