Job summary

Life Skills Autism Academy in Winston-Salem, NC seeks a dedicated Behavior Technician (RBT preferred) to support children on the autism spectrum with ABA therapy in a 1:1 setting under supervision.

Applicants must be 18+, hold a high school diploma or GED, have reliable transportation, and be willing to obtain CPR/First Aid and a TB test. The pay range is $17-$23 per hour, with data collection, parent coaching, and safe, engaging therapy sessions integral to the role.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ and able to obtain CPR/First Aid certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct client care in 1:1 and group settings using intensive teaching and natural environment training.
• Collect, record, and summarize data on observable client behavior.
• Assist with parent and caregiver training in line with treatment protocols.
• Ensure documentation is completed on time and per procedures.
• Communicate progress with parents/caregivers as instructed by supervisor.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized therapy environment.
• Assist with preparation of client materials and assessments.
