Job summary

Paycom - ATS in Wilmington, NC is seeking a Behavior Technician to provide 1:1 or small group ABA instruction for children diagnosed with autism or related developmental disabilities under the plan designed by the Behavior Analyst.

The position is part-time with day shifts; the role requires a High School diploma or GED. RBT certification must be earned within 6 months of hire, with supervision and potential wage changes upon certification. Benefits available.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• No experience required; experience with autism preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collects accurate data for programs including measurement methods.
• Assists with functional and individual assessment procedures.
• Conducts preference assessments.
• Implements ABA-based teaching procedures (e.g., shaping, prompting).
• Communicates with supervisors, families, and clients.
• Attends weekly meetings and maintains confidentiality.
